Will this work with my phone?
Any phone with NFC. Every iPhone since the XS, nearly every modern Android. Tap and you're done.
Why not just grade it?
Grading seals your card in a slab with a final, certified number. Slow, often pricier than the card itself, and locked away for good. Capsule is the other path: a Capsule Grade, real-time verification, and a living record, with the card still in your hands. A slab is a vault. Capsule is your card's ID.
How does Capsule Grade work?
Catch the card: put it in your Capsule and shoot the front and back. In seconds you get a Capsule Grade and what the card is worth. The grade is there to help you know its value, not to send it off for grading, and it follows the card forever.
Do I need the app?
The Capsule is a premium toploader on its own. Catching, Capsule Grade, tap-to-verify, and tracking your collection live in the app, and the app is free.
How many come in an order?
Five, fifteen, or thirty Capsules. Every one is the same premium 1-tap toploader. No variants, no tiers.
When does it ship?
The first batch ships Fall 2026. Shipping is added at checkout, and tracking lands in your inbox the moment it leaves.
What if the chip fails?
Sealed in a recessed cavity and rated for years. If yours ever has a problem, email us and we'll make it right.
Can I scan cards I don't own?
Yes. Tap anyone's Capsule and add yourself to who's seen it, and that card joins your record of cards you've seen in the wild. You don't have to own it.
Can't someone just take the card out?
They can. Nothing's sealed shut, and that's the point: a Capsule is your card's ID, not a cage. Its grade, owners, and history live on permanently and can't be faked or erased. Pull the card or swap it and it stops matching its record, and any collector sees that in a tap. Like a driver's license, the trust is in the credential, not the plastic.
